We are moving to a new place! Our offices are closed today 2/27/26 and we will be back to normal office hours on Monday 3/2/26. 

The Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) has issued updated guidance requiring all cannabis retailers to properly report pricing details in METRC under Minn. Admin. R. 9810.1302, subp.5A.

All sales must include:

• Shelf Price

• Discount Amount (enter 0 if none)

• Actual Price Paid

Deadline to comply: March 9, 2026

Throughout their career, Roz has led large-scale system rollouts, developed streamlined processes, and trained teams to succeed with new technology — all with a thoughtful, people-centric approach.

📢 Marijuana Software LLC – Smart Pricing Update (August 16th)

We’ve released a quick update today to improve pricing accuracy and fix a recent issue:

✅ Smart Pricing Fix
Smart Pricing was previously being applied even when the setting was turned off. This has been corrected.

• When Smart Pricing is ON, the POS now automatically gives customers the best price based on your tiered flower pricing.

• When Smart Pricing is OFF, prices are calculated strictly by gram price as intended.

✅ Profit Margin Fix
We’ve also fixed a calculation issue on the “Add Jar” page — profit margins now display accurately again.

📢 August 15th Update

• Bug Fix: Change Due & Amount Tendered now display correctly on receipts and reports.

• New: Choose when Age Verification runs — at the beginning or end of a sale.
  ⚠ Note: This setting has been reset for all accounts. Go to Account Settings → Budtender Settings to re-enable it.

• New: Add order notes in the POS for special instructions or reminders.

🚀 Marijuana Software Update – May 19, 2025

We’ve rolled out some important improvements and fixes to make your experience smoother and more accurate:

• 📦 Improved Package Display: Fixed an issue where packages imported as Pounds and Ounces were displaying incorrectly on the Products and Package Management pages. All weights should now appear correctly and consistently.

• 💰 Accurate Profit Margins: The profit margin calculations on the Add Jar pages were off—we’ve corrected the math so you can rely on the numbers when pricing your products.

• 📊 New Closing Summary Report: Need a quick overview? We've introduced a streamlined Closing Summary report that shows only the totals from your Closing Report for faster, easier end-of-day review.

• 🧬 METRC Import Fix: Resolved a bug where some METRC packages were incorrectly classified as HEMP. They’ll now import with the correct designation.

We want to share an important update about a recent issue with the METRC® 2.0 update posted on December 24th.

When the update was released, there was an error where METRC sales were reported in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) instead of your local time. This issue was fixed on January 1st, and all sales reported after that date are now using the correct local time.

However, sales reported to METRC between December 24th and December 31st may have incorrect timestamps. To ensure accuracy, we kindly ask that you:

1. Use the METRC Sales Reconciliation Tool to check the sales times reported during this period.
2. If you notice a time discrepancy for any given day, click the Reset METRC Sales Day button to correct the timestamps.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience as we worked to resolve the issue.
